Maria Zouroudi

Associate Architect / Urban Designer

Architectural Engineering Diploma, TCG, MaUSP (Cum Laude), EMU, ARB

Maria is an Urban Designer with background experience in Architecture. Maria has been actively-involved in many masterplanning projects, including residential and mixed-use schemes of various scales and contexts. Her exposure to these projects has helped her develop a wide range of expertise, from high level concepts to more detailed design exercises. Maria has played a key role in the preparation and production of Design and Access Statements, Design Codes and Vision Documents. In her day-to-day project work  she strives to strike a balance between her conceptual abilities, technical skills and visual representation. As part of her work, Maria has been exploring alternative block structures that could help to create tighter-knit neighbourhoods and more intimate and people-friendly places. Maria has an interest in the circular economy and ways to respond to the challenges of climate change; subjects which she developed during studying for a Masters in Belgium, during which she was introduced to systemic design.
